Welcome to my headworld. I have lot's of stories & people in my head.. which is where most of my world is, In my head. But I also love to draw and write my world down... sometimes. Things are a work in progress and probably will be for a while, but there's already a good amount of chunk to dig through!

Doing a much needed overhaul to my character profiles, existing, and future ones. The "silly head png" are approved and completed profiles! There are lots of links in their bios which lead to the 404. I already set them for the future, to avoid lots of editing later on.

Q & A Calendar

What are the hearts for?

There are red, yellow and green hearts. They stand for the characters importance, not how characters feel about each other. I use the same graphics for the profile avatar and the connection/link section. red = most important, yellow = in the middle, green = least important. Green heart doesn't mean I don't care about them or dislike them, this is simply to show importance in world and story as well as the complexity and meaning of a character. Kinda a "I think about them most"

Why are you so inconsistent and why so many unwritten profiles?

I only work on a few profiles at a time and then develop better methods, which leads to inconsistencies and profiles take forever. I prefer to have a somewhat consistent quality & often start over because of it. Some OCs get 5 overhauls, others don't have one at all. However because of the newest structure I developed, I can finally see myself completing more. Besides organizing information, structure was always my biggest issue.

What do you use your Ocs for? Any projects?

I use my ocs as a comfort first and foremost. I love to daydream, I love to make up stories. I have no interest in big projects nor do I know where to start, primarily because of the huge amount of scenarios I make up. Starting a big project means I would have to stick to a single story line down to every detail, which I don't like.

However I will do short comics of their every day life, insiders, struggles, moments, connections and more. I think that is a fun and realistic project goal. But before I do that, I would love to have at least a basic profile down for all of them.

Why are you so uninterested in chi art and feel kinda bothered when people (over-)focus on the forms attached to a character?

For this, you need to understand what Chis are. After that, it will make more sense. Imagine a person wearing a black t-shirt, and that t-shirt can be worn by anyone. Now imagine people care about the t-shirt and see the t-shirt as the character, not the person wearing it. And there you have it. While some Chi are deeply connected to my OCs and stories (thats why they are part of their profiles), they are a "t-shirt". Anyone could wear it and it will always be a black t-shirt, no matter who does. There are specific exceptions to this, but it applies to 97% of my ocs. The other 3% are not people with chis, but actual shapeshifters.

I like when people love and care about the concept itself, that's awesome! But its not a character-specific thing and therefore not liking "my character", but a world building detail and/or creature design.

Do you like fanart?

Yes, however the reason I prefer to offer my OCs to specific artists is because I don't want their identity messed up. Many artists can't draw different body types for facial features and turn my OCs into generic people or furries, which makes me quite uncomfortable. Another thing would be personality related issues. For example drawing everyone cute and happy no matter who they are.

As much as I love art, I would prefer if you ask. I appreciate that you like my OCs enough to draw them, genuinely, but this is important for my comfort. I also join Artfight every year, if you want to draw them within my character permissions.

Also one thing to note, people tend to copy my style when drawing them. Please, I beg, draw them in your style while keeping their actual design intact. I don't want a copy of my art, that's pretty boring.

Can I give advice?

General art and writing advice, sure, I'm always open for that and how I can improve the way I portray my characters, as long as you are constrictive and respectful! Lore & design advice however, no. I will not change them for other people, I will only change them if I don't like something about them myself. Many of the details have a reason for how they look.

Do you have "main" and "side" characters?

Yes, I don't usually label them, but I have characters who are the focus, very involved or important in my stories vs characters who are "fillers", if you will. Side characters typically aren't very in-depth in terms of involvement in story or them as a person in general. Though It varies a bit and side characters are a bit easier for me to get done bio-wise due to how simple and undeveloped they are. Makes me come up with random silly things sometimes, rather than something complex and serious like my mains. (which requires much more energy)

Do all of your Ocs live in the same world?

Yes, they do.

How do you develop characters or create new ones?

Exclusively daydreams. And a hint of try and error when it comes to their visuals. (actual drawn versions, especially outfits). Most of my new OCs in the world started to form due to the stories of my other OCs. Both "main" and "side" ones. Often a combination of the two.
